Anemometer for motorized awnings: guaranteed peace of mind
Optimize the use of your motorized awning with an anemometer. This wind sensor effectively protects your awning by automatically retracting it when the wind speed becomes too high. Its sunlight sensor adds an additional feature by opening the patio awning when there is sufficient light.
A smart system for your comfort
This anemometer continuously monitors weather conditions and sends a signal to the awning motor when:
- The wind exceeds the programmed threshold (4 possible levels) for more than 3 seconds → the awning closes automatically.
- The sunlight level is sufficient (4 possible levels + deactivation option) for more than 5 minutes → the awning opens.
- The light level drops below the set threshold for more than 15 minutes → the awning closes.
If the wind becomes too strong, sunlight detection is suspended for safety reasons.
Warning: The anemometer-linked automation does not protect against sudden gusts of wind. If a storm is forecast, it is recommended to retract the awning manually or with the remote control.
Quick and easy installation
Installing this awning wind sensor is quick and can be done in just a few steps. It must be secured to the wall using the two screws provided and installed near the awning so that it is exposed to the same weather conditions. Pairing with the awning's remote control is required to ensure proper operation.
